Society “Mazsalaca Development Projects”
The society “Mazsalaca Development Projects” (MDP) was founded in Spring 2006. The aim of the society is to strengthen civil society and promote education and culture in Mazsalaca and its neighbourhood.
During its short existence, the society has been active in the field of nongovernmental organizations (NGO) in Mazsalaca and its neighbourhood; the members of the society actively participate in public life, attend seminars and training as well as implement projects in accordance with the aims of the society.
Long-Term Plan
The long-term plan of the activities of the society include:
- capacity raising of the society,
- training of new members,
- attracting new members,
- developing cooperation with local municipalities,
- participation in the development of the NGO policy,
- participation in projects by attracting funding for local initiatives in state and international calls for proposals.
